Cooking With Camel Milk: Mushroom Soup

  As the cold weather has begun to approach us this holiday season it’s only fitting to create some tasty meals and snack that will keep us full and warm! Soups are quite popular this time of year so we ought to make something that has incredible nutritional potential. When it comes time for me to gather my ingredients before a meal, the first thing i consider is the freshness and nutritional facts. My belief is that if you are going to spend the time creating a delicious meal, you might as well make it healthy. That is why I always use camel milk instead of other alternatives. DromeDairy™ Mushroom Soup

Serves: 4

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 45 minutes


-½ Pound of Mushrooms (I typically purchase at a farmers market, ensure freshness).

-4 Cups of Chicken Stock.

-1 ½ Cups of DromeDairy Naturals® camel milk.

-2 Tablespoons of Ghee

-4 Cloves of Garlic (minced and chopped)

-½ Cup of Onions (diced)

-Sea Salt

-Cracked Pepper  


  1. Head to the stove and place a large cooking pot on medium.
  2. Add 2 tablespoons of ghee and let melt of the surface.
  3. Once melted, add the diced garlic cloves and onions and let sit for three to five minutes on medium heat.
  4. Now add the ½ pound of mushrooms and stir thoroughly for an additional three to five minutes.
  5. Now add the 4 cups of chicken stock and let cook for fifteen minutes on medium heat. Then briefly take to a boil for 2 minutes.
  6. Take the stove to a simmer and add 1 ½ cups of DromeDairy Naturals® camel milk.
  7. Stir for an additional five minutes then let sit until cool.
  8. Then pour the mixture into a blender and lightly mix until smooth.
  9. Pour back into the cooking bowl and let simmer to warm.
  10. Toss in a serving spoon and you’re ready to go!

This soup definitely perfect for the season. You can even store leftovers in a container and finish it later! There’s so many ways to make a good bowl of soup, but this recipe is uniquely healthy! The addition of camel milk, ensures a nutritious boost, given the vitamins and minerals present. This also serves with broccoli or another veggie of your choice. Overall, you will be happy with this tasty soup!
